KRD201/301/311 series non-standard mass and center of gravity, moment of inertia testers are suitable for model airplane, satellite momentum wheel, INS (inertial navigation system), seeker, stable targeting system, micro bullet, inertia tester application.

The model airplane flight needs good maneuverability and maneuverability. In the design, the position of the pressure center and the position of the center of mass should be required, and the maneuverability margin and stability of the model aircraft should be calculated, and the position of the center of mass in three directions should be measured. Determine and measure the moment of inertia in three directions (pitch, yaw and roll), which can be used to calculate the control force of attitude adjustment.

INERTIA TESTER

For asymmetric structures, the inertia product of the object can be measured by using the torsional pendulum method of measuring the moment of inertia.

 

Main technical specifications

- Rotational inertia range: 0.05 kg-㎡~0.5 kg-㎡;

Measuring method

Measure all six inertia tensors: Ix, Iy, Iz, Ixy, Ixz, Iyz.

For the rotational inertia tester, the fixture is horizontally installed when ly, lz, and lyz are measured, the fixture is installed at a 45° when Ixy and Ixz are measured, and the fixture is installed vertically.

There are 3 kinds of no-load situations, so it is necessary to measure the tensor under 3 kinds of no-load conditions and 6 kinds of load conditions, therefore, the measured tensors are ly under no load, lx under no load, lxy under no load, ly under load, lz under load, lyz under load, lxz under load, lxy under load, and lx under load.
